Different options\nwere presented, showing that a change is possible, but it requires more\nawareness. Slow fashion next selected S\u00c1 along with Luc\u00eda de Gust\u00edn\n(headdresses and accessories) to close the fashion show. <\/p>\n\n<p>Susana\n\u00c1lvarez Berlin, standing for ethical fashion, showed her new Capsule Collection\nMIRAMAR, which is made out of 100% organic and sustainable materials. It was\nthe first time S\u00c1 presented her collection made with the highest standard in\norganic fabric and with an unique urban, minimalist and elegant style. The\nbrand understands fashion as a personal product: &#8220;Due to mass and short life cycles\nfashion had changed a lot. Why not turn back to a fashion to a more personal,\nmore qualitative, more familiar, more sustainable and more ethical?\n&#8220;(Susana \u00c1lvarez). &#8220;Our garments remain unaltered by seasons or\nfashions. Our work is based on creating unique experiences, desirable objects\nand a very individualized service. Quality before quantity, individual before collective and\ncomfort as the center of the product &#8220;&#8230; (Susana \u00c1lvarez)<\/p>\n\n<p>Susana\n\u00c1lvarez\u2018 showroom is located in Seville, Spain. The designer works exclusively\nwith local tailors from the region of Seville, specifically at 5 kilometers\nradius, since it provides and guarantees 100% quality &#8211; proximity and good interhuman\nrelations are the essence of the production.<\/p>\n\n<p>In the\n&#8220;Miramar&#8221; collection, different organic textile producers joined\ntogether. Susana contributed her creative vision as a designer, her experience\nin pattern making and supervision of execution throughout the manufacturing\nprocess.<\/p>\n\n<p>The raw\nmaterials that were primary used are: Spanish wool from Dlana (Madrid), silk lace\nfabric created with wood from the ecological forests of Greencel (Barcelona),\norganic cotton denim from the company Troficolor (Portugal), organic wool for\nthe linings of the jackets contributed by Ecological Textiles (Netherlands) and\nfabric by Vives and Mar\u00ed (Valencia). <br\/>\n\u201eSix oufits were show: 4 pieces of organic denim combined with silk trousers, a\ndress made with the typical fabric that is used in the costume of fallera, a\ntie made of fish tail and a wedding dress made of merino wool. The confection\nwork is from In\u00e9s Rodr\u00edguez Infante and Inma Le\u00f3n and the weavers of the town\nLola and Ana. The bridal bouquet was made by the floral artist Manuela de los\nSantos.<\/p>\n\n<p>The\nMiramar collection is an attractive mix of materials, taking the typical\naesthetics of these materials out of context.
